This scene is from a famous movie transformer. It has many interesting and wonderful scenes. In this scene, the rhythm is different at the beginning and in the end. In the beginning, the director used lots of movement to show how they fight. First, he often cutaway in this scene by move camera. Also, he used some sound materials to make rhythm fast. Then, during the fighting, they have some simply dialogues that makes audiences easy to follow. However, in the end of the scene, the rhythm changes to a little slow. It holds audiences attention because they really want to know what happen next. So the rhythm's changing can give different emotion to audiences when they watch movie. In movement part, all the transformers movements are very simple and fast. The movement is step by step. The director did not use many fantastic movements, and all the movements are very normal in human lives. It gives audience sense of reality because simply and fast are the best way when you fight with others. The director tried to use humans movement and action in transformer to make a cordial feeling in audience's mind. So, when I saw these movement, I thought it looks like three people fight with others, and it gave me a feeling that was in the real world.

According to watch this scene, I realized that it is a action and science fiction movie. In this scene, the director used technology and animation to create three transformers and they fight each other. Theme is active for the audience because the director used lots of action and dialogue to show fighting. So, when I watched this movie, it gave me strong emotion about their fighting.

BLOG ASSIGNMENT #6 Animation Deconstruction by Yifeng Zhao
This two images I got from the same show. The show is from a Japanese animation GUNDAM SEED. However, these two images have some differences in two elements. For the first image, it used darkness color for the background to show the character. In color part, the hue is red and block. It also used saturation to change the color become dark to yellow and yellow to white. The value of this image darkness such as red to block and brown to block. However, in the second image, it used the brightness color to show the character. The hue is pink and white, and it used saturation to change color from pink to white. This image didn't use value to change color brightness to darkness. In lighting part, they also contrast with each other. The first image used a lot of shadows to hide objectives. For example, it used shadow to hide the small mountain behind the character. The symbolism in this image is to show the character's face such as eyes. The mood for this image is intensity that shows a little nervous and trepidation about something. On the other hand, the second image just use a little shadow to hide the lighting. The shadow only shows that lighting's direction from left to right. The symbolism is to show character's emotion that are happy and kind. The mood in second image is totally different with the first image. Because it used brightness color, and we can see the character is laughing, so the mood is more relax, peace, and happy. Even though these image from the same show, these elements are different with each other.
BLOG ASSIGNMENT #5 Storyboard Imitation by Yifeng Zhao
In this scene, the director has broken the 180 degree rule. We know when we shot a scene, we cannot cross the 180 degree rule because this is a safe line when we shot scene. According to get audience attention and not let them jump out when they watch movie, every director must follow this rule to make the scene better. However, we know some of ways that can cross the 180 degree line. For example, when the third person into the room and into the scene, if you cut away to something like a clock, your characters can move while they are on screen, and the camera can dolly cross 180 line during a shot. So in this scene, there is not important third person into the scene, director didn't cross 180 line during a shot, and he didn't cut away to something like a clock. The only way he used to cross the 180 line because two characters always move in the scene because they have to fight each other. The director used rule of third very well to show the intersections of horizontal and vertical thirds that make people easy to follow. For example, from eyes to body and body to hand. Each shot gave the focus to audience. Every time he changed the camera shot, he always moved camera more than 30 degree, and he used a lot of over the shoulder to shot this scene. Such as from character A's head to character B's face, and from character B's head to character A's face. The purpose that director often use over the shoulder because he wanted to show character's face and expression when they fight with each other. It caught audience's attention and make their emotion more nervous. Therefore, even though he broken 180 degree rule, he used the way that characters always move in this scene that can be work sometime. He used the correct way to shot this scene which is very well.

These two song's artist is Lady Gaga.
These two songs from Lady Gaga give totally different feeling to me. In song You and I, the lyric describes the feeling when people want to die, and her emotion is very despair. To show this emotion, this song use a sad and also powerful melody for the background of the music. The song's rhythm is regular; the intensity is very loud; the the pitch is high; the timbre is simple; the speed is very slow, and the organization is ordered. These musical qualities show the emotion and purpose about this song. However, in her other song Poker face, it has totally different feeling when I listen this music. In this song, the lyric is like a game in the life between boy and girl, and it shows temptation. So the background of music or melody is happy and powerful. This song also use regular in the rhythm, but it used soft in the intensity part. The pitch is not high; the timbre is a little more complex; the speed is medium which is faster than You and I, and the organization is ordered in this song. I like Poker Face more than You and I because I like faster speed in the song. You and I gives me a sad feeling after I listened it because its lyric and melody is powerful. However, after I heard Poker Face, I was feeling happy because the melody and musical qualities give me a strong emotion that make me exciting.

Brief critique of the scene
The sound from this scene that use Space and Gestalt Principals and Illusion. For Space, the sounds show the emotional and movement from the scene. The emotional from the scene that shows character's action, and also let audience feel nervous and exciting about him. Also it has movement sounds because character needs to fight with other person. For example when they fight with each other, there are some hit sounds to show their action and how they fight. For Gestalt Principals, the originator correctly use the illusion to explain the character's thinking. It is a little different with normal sounds. The sounds feel only around his mind and only character and movie receivers can hear. It creates a new space between character and audiences who are in the movie. This is a wonderful work to show the different spaces in the movie. Also, he used similarity rhythm songs in the beginning and the end of the scene. This lets people relaxing and it is a little different with other fighting games. So, the scene uses Space and Gestalt and Illusion to show the action and something happened. The originator used wonderful sounds for it such as movement, emotional, illusion and similarity.

Personal howling By Yifeng Zhao
People usually have some deer behaviors that they never have known before because these behaviors happen in very serious situation. Most of people live a comfortable life and they never have bad things happen in their lives. So, they probably don't know what is the deep behavior for them even they died in the end. However, some of people may have that experience because they must have some serious issues happened in the lives. This is an important experience for everyone because sometimes it can save them.
Alike one of the J. Flaum’s article said that when people feel very hungry of fear, they will have strong emotion and violent behavior that they never have before. Actually, these behaviors usually happen without thinking. In other words, people don't know the reason why they did. In this story, the character Mumon said that he doesn't know why he would kill a deer and eat it. The only thing he knows that he felt so hungry and he needs food to continues life. Therefore, according to keep life, sometimes people will abandon their dignity, religion, behavior, and so on. Even though they may shaming, regret and get angry, they are alive. It's better than died. It is the automatic instinct to live, and it also is a special ability to help people saving their lives.
Another lyric Rolling in the deep from the Adele is my favorite because it explains that when she despaired for her loving, she felt so sad and disappoint. The lyric shows when she lived in this situation, what she did for herself. It is contrast with the J. Flaum's article because she didn't show her deep behavior and howl. She just couldn't control her mind and stop to think what happen for her. This is another circumstance when people have bad thing happen in the lives. This lyric gives me a feeling that it is a strong howl from her heart, and it is totally different the howl from the mouth. This is an important reason why I like this lyric so much.
Howl, we know it is a behavior when people feel despair. It shows that person has low hope for himself. It also can explain that is hopeless cry out. According to the research, over 19% people howl in their lives, and every year this number is increasing. Researchers also find out that sometimes people howl not only feel despair, but also they try to hope to themselves. They need to howl to make them exciting and powerful. They also want to let others know that they are alive. However, humans howl is different from wolves howl. Sometimes people easily confound both howls because they believe they must be the same. Actually, wolves usually howl because they want to communicate with each other, and also to find out where they are.
Howling is a special personal ability that may save people's life in emergency circumstances. It transmits that people want to live even they feel despair. Therefore, people had better know what are their deep behaviors and how they work because it is so important for everyone. Alike J. Flaum’s article's name Finding Your Howl.

Blog Assignment #2 summary
The part I story from the article Finding Your Howl shows that when people feel very hungry or fear, they will have strong emotion and violent behavior that they never had before. Usually, these behaviors are without thinking and no reason why people will do. Also, the author explain that Howl is a deep behavior in people's lives because it happens only people feel fear, shaming, and dangerous. It is a special ability to help people protect their lives.
